I’m Rex Barrett. Husband, father, pastor, photographer, and productivity aficionado. Collecting hobbies is my hobby. I live in small town Oklahoma, but commute to Downtown OKC, giving me a lot of time to sort out the ideas bouncing around in my head. I write about those stray thoughts on my blog. You can also check in on my /now page to see what’s catching my very limited attention.
The Humane Performance Lab is a place where I’m testing a different kind of “high performance.” For a long time, I focused on maximizing every little aspect of my life. Now I’m practicing a way of living that doesn’t hollow us out. What does it look like to do less and care more, to trade urgency for presence, and to measure a good day by faithfulness and friendship instead of checkmarks on a task list?
